Halloween 2008

Fieldstone Farms was the place to be Halloween 2008. We had our own volunteer fire department between Trey, Maddox, and Locke. The babies celebrated their first halloween together, but didn't make it very long in their costumes. Trey had such a blast because he finally got the concept this year! Knocking on people's doors and shouting, "trick or treat" gets you free candy!!!

Pumpkinfest 2008

Our fearsome crew headed to downtown Franklin for Pumpkinfest 2008. Waller and Bennett napped the entire time and Trey was all consumed with the stormtroopers from StarWars. Maybe next year we will hit the kid zone and let them play on all the rides.

Another Autumn Night

We enjoyed another eventful cook-out at CeCe and Pop's place. This time the Tidwells from Atlanta took part. Waller tried her exersaucer out for the first time and the boys ate treats all night long!

Gentry Farm Pumpkin Patch

We spent a Sunday afternoon out at the Gentry Farm in Franklin. They have many activities for the little ones to participate in. We went on a hayride and then picked out a pumpkin to take home.

Weiner Roast

We cooked hot dogs and smores at Pops and CeCe's place on Friday night. It was a crisp autumn evening and a wonderful spot to hang out.

Waller and her fingers...

Waller Beth will not take a passy - wants nothing to do with them. She will stick her entire hand in her mouth until she works it down to just 2 fingers. Sometimes it is the index with the middle finger and sometimes it is the middle and ring fingers. I will admit that it is so nice not having to get up in the middle of the night to stick a passy back in her mouth.

We spent a great week in Gulf Shores with CeCe, Pops, Aunt Jill, Uncle Fletcher and Bennett! The boys played hard from sun-up until sun-down. Waller was a perfect beach bunny, but she wore us out on the drive down and home. The weather was amazing and we soaked up all the beach time we could possibly get. We can't wait until next year.
