Halloween Night

We had an incredible night trick or treating in style at Laurel Brooke. Our friends, the Davis', hosted a fabulous party which included a hay ride to chauffeur us trick or treating. We stopped by CeCe and Pops to hit them up for some candy while in the neighborhood. Trey and Waller had a blast and stayed up until 10p. Thanks to the Davis Family for a fantastic evening.

First Broken Bone

Well, remember the part I mentioned about Trey nursing an arm injury...he broke a bone in his radial area of the elbow wrestling with his daddy. I am glad we have it casted so it can heal even though it took an hour to get him out from under the orthopaedics's table. You see, Trey is very active and he fell on his injured arm yesterday, so I knew it would take 10 days in a cast to help it heal. He comes about this honestly from a daddy and an uncle who are very accident prone. I hope you enjoy the pictures. By the way, he picked a red cast for some reason. I was pushing an orange one for the VOLS - no such luck! Waller had to get in on the action!!!

Waller's first day of school

The smile says it all - she was ready to go even though mommy wasn't. She went in her classroom no problem at all, but I heard she did cry for a while - thank goodness!!! Trey through an absolute fit when I dropped him off, so it was nice to have one easy child this day!

Pippa's birthday

Pippa celebrated her birthday with us because she was so wonderful to come in and keep the kids while I worked the first part of my Boden shows. We had a great night of fun with a visit from Aunt Betsy and Uncle Mitch. If you look closely, you can see Trey nursing his left arm. He suffered an injury this very night while wrestling with Daddy.

Williamson County Fair

We ventured to the Williamson County fair for an evening of fun! Trey got a few rides in and really enjoyed bouncing up in the air before Waller got sick. We were in line for the petting zoo part when she began vomiting everywhere. Needless to say, we had to head home. Here are a few shots of Trey at work.

Waller's 1st Popsicle

I got the Flip video camera for my birthday and LOVE that I can capture everyday life with Waller and Trey. This particular afternoon I gave Waller her first Popsicle - orange for the Vols! I stripped her down because I knew it would get messy. Needless to say, she loves them!

Trey and Jack

Jack Davidson is Trey's favorite friend to play with because he is 11 and plays football. Jack is so sweet to Trey and even agreed to come over and play at Trey's house for a day. We went swimming, ate lunch, and watched a movie. Trey was in hog heaven. A HUGE thank you to Jack for keeping up with my boy.

Fishing Boys

The boys spent a wonderful afternoon at the LaurelBrooke pond. Pops got the boys matching spiderman fishing poles and they caught some big ones!!! Thank you to Uncle Fletcher for documenting the afternoon.

Pop's Birthday

We celebrated Pop's birthday in Cinco de Mayo style on the 4th of May. There is nothing like SAT Co tacos and cheese dip!

End of April

Here are a few pictures I took at the end of April. Waller loves putting anything in her mouth - we compare her to a little puppy dog because she crawls around with objects in her mouth and she will also nibble on your ankles, no joke! Trey's practice

golf balls happen to be a favorite. They are like little Nerf balls so they are super soft. CeCe is thinking, "choke hazard"!!! Waller enjoyed her first Famous Amos cookie on our car ride home from Atlanta and had it everywhere - thank you to Aunt Jill for sending us home with some snacks; we needed the distraction desperately. Finally, there is a picture of Waller in her walker, which she just figured out how to move. She is in one of my favorite outfits - the sweetest blue bubble! Enjoy!

Atlanta Visit

We traveled to Atlanta for sweet baby Beau's baptism. It is such a shame that I didn't get a picture of the cute little fellow - typical 2nd baby syndrome and he isn't even mine. We enjoyed staying at Fletcher and Jill's, but our favorite part was brunch at Elevation. It is a restaurant at a private airport where we watched planes take off and land! Thanks for a great day!

Friday Night Cook Out

Trey and Waller had their best friends over for a night of food and fun. Thomas and Maggie James are the kindest, sweetest friends we could ask for. Chuck and I adore hanging out with Kenneth and Scarlett too!

Big Brother

Trey loves giving Waller her bottle. He is such a great big brother.

Hair Grows Back, Right?

I decided to take Trey to the barber shop to get their help on fixing his hair. Unfortunately, none of the ladies were working today and Mr. Tim was our only choice. Mr. Tim likes things high and tight I soon found out. I tried so hard not to hyperventilate in the store and say thank you. Trey didn't even recognize himself in the mirror. On the way home, he told me his hair was too short and he doesn't want to see Mr. Tim anymore. Anybody have any tricks for hair growth?

Trey's Haircut

Okay, I'll be honest, I never though it would happen to us. I always thought Trey was just too smart to go and do something so obviously not right. Boy was I wrong. I sent Trey on a mission to find my razor in Chuck's bathroom. Instead, Trey found Chuck's electric razor and a pair of cuticle scissors. I should have known things got too quiet. The pictures explain all the damage. He must have put the electric razor in the middle of his head because when I was trying to conceal the damage with a comb patches of hair kept coming out. Yikes!!

Waller is 9 Months

Our sweet little girl is growing up way too fast! I can't believe she is already 9 months. Waller is pulling up now all by herself and officially standing in her crib. It is time to lower the bed for sure.

Lunch at CeCe and Pop's

We had a DELICIOUS lunch at CeCe and Pop's house to celebrate Easter after church. Aunt Stephanie came over and we occupied Trey with egg hunts while waiting to eat. We hid the eggs for him a couple of times and then he decided he wanted to hide the eggs for us. Of course we never got the chance to hunt the eggs because he was too quick to point out all of the hiding spots.

Easter Sunday

We were blessed with a beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We enjoyed an incredible service at church and I then had to put my children through the annual Easter picture. I remember how we moaned and groaned at my poor mother when she required it of us. It is true what they say about becoming your mother...
